About the Client

Andrea Dylong is a sports dietitian. She primarily works with endurance athletes – especially mountain and ultra runners. She has been in the profession for five years and has been running her own practice since June 2022. All her consultations are conducted exclusively online.

Client challenges

Before Andrea started using alloweat, she faced three main challenges:

  • spending too much time adjusting meal plans to match her athletes’ training schedules,
  • lack of workflow organization due to the need to use multiple external tools,
  • and inability to monitor her clients’ progress.

Previous programs Andrea used did not allow her to create rotational meal plans that could adapt nutrition to different types of training days. Additionally, preparing menus quickly was difficult due to underdeveloped system databases. Publicly available recipes often contained errors, which cost her not only time but also caused frustration.

To stay organized, Andrea had to rely on various external programs and apps, such as notepads, different messaging platforms and calendars. Inability to centralize all client information led to unnecessary chaos.

Results achieved

Since Andrea decided to start working with alloweat, the feeling of wasting time has disappeared. Creating plans for athletes, even those with the most specific needs, now requires significantly less energy and effort. Andrea attributes this time-saving mainly to the ability to group recipes into templates, which she then uses to build personalized nutrition plans for her athletes. Andrea also has great trust in the recipes available in alloweat’s system databases – she has tested many of them in her own kitchen and knows they are consistent, well-written and, importantly, tasty.

She values working with alloweat also because it allows her to store all the necessary client information in one place, making it easy to quickly find what she needs during consultations.

A major improvement in Andrea’s work quality was the introduction of the Monitoring module on the platform. Thanks to it, she can finally analyze how well her clients are following their plans, and most importantly, she can react promptly if she notices things aren’t going as they should.

Client’s biggest win

For Andrea, the greatest success is the ability to provide her clients with high-quality services, and thanks to alloweat, this has become possible. Plans she creates for her athletes using the algorithm are much better tailored to the specific needs of the sportspeople she works with.

Additionally, the mobile app allows Andrea to empower her clients, who, leading intense lives as athletes, need a tool to quickly adjust their nutrition according to changing training loads. Throughout their collaboration, Andrea’s clients learn how to swap products and meals, which significantly increases their nutritional awareness and translates into improved athletic performance.

Currently, Andrea works with around 40 to 50 clients, 80% of whom are athletes and her work comfort has increased significantly since she started using alloweat.

In the Client’s words

I am very satisfied with the program and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any dietitian considering switching to this innovative solution. Creating meal plans in alloweat is just one of many features. There’s the survey sent directly from the program, the chat (!), the Monitoring module, calendar, database with all the necessary client information and much, much more. On top of that, the customer support is flawless. Whenever changes were made to the program, they were practically unnoticeable in my work and any question I asked was answered within minutes. Top-notch!
