About the Client

Paulina Pilarska runs her dietetic practice in Gdańsk, working with patients both in person and online. Initially, she planned her future career in sports dietetics. She trained in athletics for 8 years -specifically the 400m hurdles – which inspired her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Sports Dietetics at the University of Physical Education (AWF) in Poznań. Currently, Paulina is continuing her master’s studies at the Medical University of Warsaw.

She has been running her own business for 3 years, having started very early – already in her first year of studies.

At first, Paulina mainly worked with athletes and physically active individuals, but now she leans more towards clinical dietetics, primarily working with oncology patients, those with hormonal disorders and gastrointestinal problems.

Client challenges

What bothered Paulina most in her work so far was growing frustration with constantly having to create meal plans. In many of the programs she had used before, recipe databases proved impractical and unrealistic in real life. She also quickly realized that time spent writing diets usually did not translate into effective cooperation. That’s why she decided it was time to look for a solution that would make her work easier rather than harder.

Processes Paulina started often “lived their own life” – it was difficult to analyze how patients were doing between appointments or to verify whether the information they shared during visits was accurate (especially when results were unsatisfactory). Before Paulina began using the Monitoring module in alloweat, she wasn’t always able to engage patients enough in the process. Now, quoting Paulina, “no one feels disappointed after having their progress reviewed.”

Additionally, after a while, communicating with patients via various messaging apps became burdensome for Paulina, as it showed little respect for her private time.

Results achieved

As Paulina herself says, since she started working with alloweat, “the days of creating diets and calculating every gram of cheese or avocado are over.” Thanks to the ability to work with patients beyond just meal plans, she has created alternative cooperation paths, so every patient can find something that suits them in her offer. And when cooperation with a particular patient does require a diet plan, she prepares it much faster than before.

Interaction with patients is now also less demanding for Paulina. She stays in regular contact with those who have purchased packages that include this service. Thanks to access to the chat directly through the platform, she usually replies to all messages once a day, at a time convenient for her.

Moreover, Paulina has access to all educational materials and recommendations stored in the alloweat database. She can print them out or simply show them to patients during consultations whenever needed. She no longer has to search through her entire computer to find what she’s looking for. This has made her work more organized and less chaotic. Everything related to managing patients and her business is stored in the system.

Client’s biggest win

Paulina is about to turn 24, and she can already boast running a thriving business that brings in over 10 000zl per month – based solely on individual client cooperation, which she describes as “without burning out.” Thanks to alloweat, she can take on more clients and serve them in less time without compromising quality. Since July 2023, she has had 140 clients in the alloweat database, which she considers her greatest success. Additionally, she has enough time to develop in other areas, such as creating e-books and is currently thinking about producing webinars.
